


Mark Clark, owner of Speed Sports got his start helping his dad and learning the “attention to detail” that is necessary for working on the quality of cars that Speed Sports repairs. Mark , at 19 years old went to work with Bob Ream forming B&R Automotive where ther he was fortunate enough that Bob took him under his wing and helped the detail oriented Mark gain the mechanical skills he now posseses. At B&R Automotive Mark learned first the basics of carburetion and then moved on to the more complex EFI systems that Speed Sports now sells and installs. Mark also ran the chassis dyno at B&R Automotive and shortly after opening his own shop purchased a brand new Superflow in-ground chassis dyno for all tuning needs. Speed Sports opened its door in Feb. of 2005 with only Mark handling the day-to-day operations. This didn’t last long as the business grew faster than Mark could keep up. Speed Sports now employs 2 additional technicians to help Mark in the almost 6000 square foot Gilbert, Az facility…
